What should I bring to my Kitesurf Lesson in Essex and Suffolk region
We provide all kiting and safety equipment however you will need to bring some basic additional items to the lesson to ensure you are comfortable, warm and enjoy the day.
For hygiene reasons we do not supply wetsuit boots or gloves but we highly recommend you bring some to the lesson. If you do not have any, they can be purchased from Edgeriders.
Other things to bring:
-
We provide wetsuits however if you have your own it is adviced you bring it as it will be taylored to you. If you need use to provide a wetsuit drop us a line and let us know you approximate size.
-
Wetsuit boots - these are highly recomended as you may walk on rocks or sharp objects while in the water, we cannot provide these as a school for hygiene reasons.
-
Swimwear to wear underneath wetsuits - for hygiene reasons this is a must if you are borrowing a school wetsuits!
-
Towel
-
Bin bag or dry bag for your wet gear.
-
Appropriately warm/water proof clothing clothing to suit varying conditions.
-
Suncream (at least SPF 25 is recommended due to the reflection off the water) - this is important to bring even if you dont think it is sunny as we do not provide this.
-
Sun Hat.
-
Strong sunglasses (at least Cat 3 is recommended) - this is really important again even if you dont think it is that sunny.
-
